Liz Kay works with teens, adults, parents, and families navigating mental health, trauma, substance use, and relationship challenges. She values creating a space where people feel comfortable, understood, and supported from the very first session.

About Liz:

Over the past 20 years, Liz has worked in a wide range of settings including residential treatment, outreach, non-profit agencies, provincial health services, and private practice. At BC Children's Hospital, she provided assessment, treatment, consultation, and supervision and training for professionals across the province.

Liz holds a Master of Social Work from University of British Columbia and has advanced training in DBT, CBT, EMDR, Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT/EFIT), Emotion Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), and Motivational Interviewing.

When she’s not working, Liz enjoys running, travelling, and spending time with her kids and family.
